COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
The outbreak of the coronavirus has had a worldly affect and has affected how we operate as a company and home helpers. Caring Angels Support Services Ltd are continuing to keep abreast of all the related developments of the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the UK.
We are following the guidelines set for us by the UK Government, Public Health England and the NHS. All our home helpers are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering clients home and practice social distancing when they can to reduce the spread of this infectious disease. This is important to the health and well-being of our clients and our home helpers.
The symptoms are a high temperature, a new or continuous cough, a loss of, or change to your sense of smell or taste. If you have any of those symptoms you are required to stay at home and self-isolate according to NHS Advice.
Prevention of COVID-19
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
- Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the bin straight away, or sneeze into the bend of your elbow, then wash your hands.
- Avoid close contact with persons who have respiratory illness symptoms.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- If you are unwell, stay at home and contact the 111 Coronavirus helpline (valid in all countries of the UK)
- If you are asked to self-isolate please follow the NHS Advice
